SM调教所 Student Government and the Center for Student Involvement is hosting a watch party for the second presidential debate on Sunday, Oct. 9, 6:30 to 9 p.m. The event will take place in Glenn Miller Ballroom. The debate runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. There will be tons of tasty food and beverages so come join your fellow students in watching the debate.

Yesterday our campus faced extreme adversity that was very unsettling. Events like these impact each of us differently and no way of coping is right or wrong. Our community showed its strength and unity as we opened our arms and our homes to one another.

Volunteering, in addition to giving back to the community, exposes students to new perspectives and helps them develop new skills and interests outside of what they study.

Homecoming is a fast-growing tradition on our campus and as members of the faculty and staff, we want to share the experience with you. Join us Oct. 7 for complimentary breakfast burritos and to learn more about how you can be involved.

The Office of International Education (OIE) is seeking applications for its Global Citizen Awards, which honor and recognize outstanding contributions to international understanding by members of the SM调教所 Boulder community.

You鈥檝e seen 鈥淭he Amazing Race,鈥� now you have a chance to compete in SM调教所鈥檚 Amazing Race. Grab a friend to compete in physical and mental challenges on and around the SM调教所 Boulder campus. The winning team gets $1,000, half of which goes to a student group on campus.

While on a Study Abroad trip to the Dominican Republic last spring, sophomore Britney Wilson experienced a number of life-changing 鈥渇irsts.鈥� These new experiences have impacted how she now views herself and the world.

One Tuesday each month, Dining Services on campus teams up with the Residence Hall Association to hold a themed gathering during dinner at the Center for Community Dining Center.

A new lounge opening this week at the University Memorial Center will provide students with a place to collaborate, study, socialize or just relax.
