Learn the basics of gardening in the high desert Colorado foothills! In this Sustainability Skills workshop with permaculture instructor Kelly Simmons, gain hands-on experience with seeds, soil and planting so you feel ready to grow your own this spring! Participants will receive handouts on building soil and a Boulder planting guide along with an opportunity to plant and take home a transplant pot of seeds. Admission is $15, and enrollment is limited so !

Join the Colorado Bhangra Team for an open dance floor, and learn the听exciting dance form: Bhangra. Free and open to all.


Saturday, April 13

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.听 Rec听Center, Lower Gyms
Check out the annual dance marathon, which aims to support the Children鈥檚 Miracle Network and the Children鈥檚 Hospital of Colorado. More than 31 student groups will be participating, and community members are welcome to join in the festivities and fundraising.

Pulse of Nature IV Live Concert

8鈥9:30听p.m. Fiske Planetarium
Cruise over to Fiske for a live show that combines images of natural landscapes, the world听and the universe with an epic live concert. This extraordinary musical experience will feature 14- and 16-string guitarist and composer听Javier Sep煤lveda,听world-renowned guitarist and composer听Fareed Haque,听Daniel Carillo听on drums,听Katana Van Valen听on keyboards听and听Phill Moss听on electric bass.听鈥婽ickets are $20.

8:30鈥11:30听p.m. Club 156
In the mood for a night of jamming out? Make your way down to Club 156 to listen to the American producer McKenzie Morrow, who is known around the world as Carbin! Admission is $15.


Sunday, April 14

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.听Duane Physics
Want to raise money for a good cause, and challenge yourself? The Miles for Mental Health 5K听benefits the SM调教所 community and outreach for psychological services, including the CAPS service for students. Tickets are $15, and participants can walk, run听or jog!听Check in starts at 8 a.m. outside of Duane Physics and Astrophysics.
