Well, fellow buffaloes, our school year is officially underway. We are a few weeks into school now, we beat the CSU Rams, and the first round of midterms are fast approaching. Organizations on and off campus are also hard at work and still have positions open and available. SM调教所 Student Government is one of those organizations and we are looking for passionate, hardworking听and fun-loving students who want to be involved on campus.
SM调教所SG听is one of the largest student governments in the country. We allocate $23 million in student fees across cost centers, programs听and student organizations every year. SM调教所SG听is run for the students, by the students, and will impact you throughout your time in Boulder so use your voice and get involved. We have four positions available: social media chair, sustainability chair, international students liaison听and election commissioner.
The social media chair manages all SM调教所SG听social media accounts, attends campus events representing SM调教所SG, and attends all SM调教所SG听meetings.听We are looking for a student with exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as a comprehensive understanding and comfort with all social media platforms.
The sustainability chair acts as SM调教所SG鈥檚 liaison to the Environmental Center and student organizations specializing in environmental efforts. The chair听works with the executives and Environmental Center to address and strive to resolve the environmental issues facing our campus. We are looking for a student with exceptional interpersonal skills such as communication, teamwork, facilitation听and leadership skills as well as organizational skills.
The international students liaison acts as SM调教所SG's听liaison to international students and works closely with the Office of International Students and Students of Scholar Services (ISSS) to explore and identify international student needs and to deliver programs to the community. We are looking for a passionate student with the desire to serve fellow students. Applicants听must also have exceptional interpersonal, written听and verbal skills as well as a comprehensive understanding of different cultural practices and issues.
Election commissioner ensures open, fair听and efficient student government elections. The commissioner听also advertises fall and spring elections while soliciting qualified candidates for SM调教所SG听office. We are looking for a student with exceptional interpersonal skills with very strong organization skills.
