Team Weimer recently consolidated its lab footprint to reside completely in the Engineering Center of the SMµ÷½ÌËù. We have cutting edge analytical equipment, and we are known for our modding capabilities on existing process designs. These labs house the ALD reactors, a high flux solar simulator (HFSS), as well as high-temperature reactors that can reach temperatures in excess of 2000K forÌýtesting new materials and performingÌýgasification of biomass,ÌýamongÌýother substances. TheseÌýlabs are also capable of performingÌýcryogenic milling, LECO elemental analysis, and particle size analysis (PSA/PSD). Our facilities also include characterization capabilities suchÌýas BET surface area analysis, dilatometry, selective chemisorption/physisorption, microwave digestion, gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).
