An advisor is a faculty or staff member who helps you clarify and meet your student org goals.
As an RSO leader, you should know an advisor won鈥檛 tell you what to do, but rather will encourage you to tap into various resources at SM调教所 and ensure you are getting the most out of your organization. As a current advisor, we welcome and thank you for investing in the success of our 550+ recognized student organizations (RSOs). We recommend you familiarize yourself with common student-org related terms, review our expectations and consider your role in assisting yearly student org leadership transitions. As a faculty/staff advisor, please remember your responsibility to report.
At SM调教所 Boulder, RSOs are not required to have at least one faculty or staff advisor. However, faculty/staff advisors help organizations maintain consistency from year-to-year and can offer advice on organizational decisions.
