Join听Lisa Dilling, director of听Western Water Assessment听at CIRES, for a听public talk听on usable science on Wednesday, March 6th from听4:00-5:00 p.m. in CIRES Auditorium (Ekeley, room 338).Following the panel there will be a discussion from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in CIRES Auditorium (Ekeley, room S274) featuring SM调教所 Boulder researchers whose science has been used beyond the university. We will explore different pathways to usable science, look at practical considerations and pitfalls, and learn from some of the researchers who have made usable science a major part of their careers. A听participatory workshop听will follow for graduate students and early-career scientists to consider the real-world potential of making their own research more usable now and throughout their careers. Space in the workshop is limited; food will be provided.听
