Biography

Tracy Jennings is a teaching professor at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado, Boulder. She holds a BA in Religion from Williams College, a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology, and an MBA from the University of Denver. Dr. Jennings began her career at IBM as a user experience designer, followed by New Product Development leadership roles in technology for U S WEST and Yipes Communications.Ìý

Jennings teaches Employee Relations, Individual, Team, and Organization Development, Hiring and Retaining Human Resources, Compensation and Benefits, Organization Behavior, Essential Management Skills, and International Management. From 2013-2018 she led Global Seminars in Shanghai and Beijing, China.

As the Faculty Director of Distance and Online at Leeds, Jennings applies her cognitive psychology, teaching, and user experience design expertise to create online programs and systems. Since 2018, Jennings has led videography production, instructional design, and the adoption of a consistent online class user interface for Leeds Graduate programs. She also created Leeds’s first Coursera MOOC and co-created the online summer Business Minor. During the Pandemic, Jennings led faculty training workshops and supported faculty video production.
